Teneriffe Banks

Teneriffe Banks

Embedded in Teneriffes’ last remining riverfront site, Teneriffe Banks is a new $1.5 billion mixed-use development. Rarely can you affect the fabric of a neighbourhood in such a profound way, restitching the iconic heritage of a storied suburb to the source of its fortune and fame: the Brisbane River.

Our design recognises the significance of the rivers frontage. The public realm offering represents more than 50% of the site area – unlocking 8,900sqm of public space for local and international visitors. Extending the riverwalk and creating new laneways will create activation through the development, linking the riverfront to Teneriffe Banks.

Anchored by two towers the precinct will host 380 luxury apartments comprising one, two, three and four-bedroom layouts. The apartment designs will include wool store-style lofts, reflecting the industrial heritage of the area which was transformed decades ago through the conversion of the former wool store wharf precinct into apartments.

The project also features Australia's first Kimpton Hotel with 9,149sqm, a large plaza, extended riverwalk and laneways throughout with active public spaces, and 15 office tenancies totaling 2,350sqm plus 2,729sqm allocated to a retail and dining precinct.

Additional hotel amenities on level 14 include a 350m2 day spa and 437m2 restaurant and bar. The hotel, which is yet to be named will also boast a 179m2 Brisbane River facing pool and deck, meeting rooms, three ballrooms with pre-function area and 556m2 outdoor terrace lawn with another lounge on level 5.
